Tanya L. Leach, JD, LP
Tanya L. Leach, JD, LP completed the License Qualifying Program at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies in 2014 and the four-year Adult Training Program in Psychoanalysis and Comprehensive Psychotherapy in 2018. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from The New School and a law degree from Fordham University. Tanya trained in mediation at the Ackerman Institute for the Family and at The Center for Understanding in Conflict, and also trained in restorative justice work at the Osborne Association. She co-facilitates a restorative justice group, “Coming to Terms,” for long-term incarcerated persons at Sing Sing Correctional Facility in Ossining, New York. Tanya serves as the President of NIPPA, and is in private practice in New York City, working as a psychotherapist and psychoanalyst with adult individuals and couples, and as a family and divorce mediator.
