Maryann serves on the NIPPA Board because of her commitment to the continuation of a robust and collegial professional home for NIP graduates and those professionally associated with NIP. She has assisted in the coordination of NIP’s past Annual Conferences and as a Coordinator of NIP’s Seminar Series for interns and externs. Currently, she serves as Acting Secretary of the NIPPA Board and is a Co-Director of NIP’s Curriculum Committee. Maryann has a private practice on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. In order to better serve her pregnant and postpartum patients, she has completed training (PMHC) from Postpartum Support International in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Maryann works in a psychodynamic relational framework that integrates elements of ACT, Somatically-based methods, and AEDP. She is influenced by Buddhist psychology and practice.
